Horizontal Turning Unit replacement

1 Place total station in
instrument stand.
2 Remove cable from
base unit.
A. Open the servo side
cover, see page 5-15
B. Disconnect the cable
from base unit to IPC
board.
3 Replace horizontal
turning unit.
A. Remove the four
screws.
B. Replace the horizontal
turning unit and tighten
the four screws.
180 Ncm. Use a torque wrench
with a torx T20 bit.

4 Connect cable from
base unit.
Connect cable and mount
the servo side cover, see
page 5-15.
5 Intialize the
instrument with new
HTU constants.
See page 6-7.
