Symptom Resolution
Horizontal vibration. 1. Check instrument set-up, see Tripod vibration Support Note
available on Survey Partners
2. Use Autolock function to lock onto a target on short distance
< 30 meter (100 feet). If horizontal vibration appears switch
off Autolock function, if instrument stops vibrating replace
tracker transmitter unit.
3. Replace accelerometers.
Vertical vibration. 1. Activate vertical oscillation compensation.
2. Regrease vertical axes.
3. Replace tracker transmitter
No connection with TCU 1. Replace MSB boards.
Servo system stops working, behaves
as if there is no motor drive.
Repair the angle system.
Reason: This is most probable a malfunction of the angle
system. When angle system is not working the servo system will
not receive angles and also stop working as a result.
