HPL transmitter alignment
Note – To make alignment and verifying the beam divergence the collimator for the digital camera is
required, see Service Bulletins JE-0908-0031 & JE-1208-0046.
Tools and equipment
Alignment of High Power Laser Pointer is done in the following steps. Detailed description is found
in the table below.
1. Check collimator alignment.
2. Adjust collimator height adapter to pos. 1.
3. Aim instrument in face 2 to collimators cross-hairs.
4. Mount
Collimator adjustment cap tool and align standard laser pointer in vertical pos. to lower
hole on the cap.
5. Mount
HPL filter 3R tool.
6. Align High Power Laser Pointer to collimators cross-hairs.
