4 Prepare instrument. A. Level the instrument
and aim the instrument
in face2 to the
collimators cross-hairs.
B. Click Holding mode
ON, see Fig. 6-201 on
page 6-195 .
C. Remove filter holder
on the collimator and
mount the protective
lens cap, see Fig. 6-
199.
D. Select
Switch
transmitter ON/OFF
check box and click
transmitter ON.
E. Align the laser pointer
to the lower hole on the
protective cap by
adjusting the height
with the tribrach
footscrews.
F. Click Transmitter
OFF
to switch off
transmitter.
G. Remove protective lens
cap and mount the filter
holder.
The standard laser
spot is visible on the
lens cap.
