5.1 Probes
This chapter consists of the information for each probe, such as features and applications. As
well as informations for biopsies and biopsy-guides, such as biopsy kits and accessories as
well as basic procedures for attaching a biopsy guide to the different types of probes.
Note
If a probe is only available for Voluson® S8, it is marked by * (eg. C1-5-RS*).
5.1.1 Labeling
Each probe is labeled with the following information:
•
Manufacturer
•
GE part number
•
Probe serial number
•
Probe designation provided on the probe grip and the top of the connector housing, so it
is easily read when mounted on the system and is also automatically displayed on the
screen when the probe is selected.
