2.42.1 Automatic Hold
Description
While on an active outside call, the system will place the call on hold automatically if you
press the [FLASH], [CONF], {DSS/BLF} or other feature button. In addition, your station can
be programmed to support Line to Line Automatic Hold. In this case, pressing an outside Line
button while on an outside call will place the active call on hold and access the selected Line.
Operation
iPECS IP & LDP Phones
1. Press the desired feature button or {LINE}; the active call is placed in the preferred
Hold state.
To use Automatic Hold while on an active outside call
Conditions
1. Outside Lines placed on hold with Automatic Hold are placed in the assigned
preferred Hold state and are subject to the normal Hold Recall process.
2. There is no limit on the number of calls that can be placed on hold using Automatic
Hold.
