4.11 IP Address Dialing
Description
If allowed, you can place calls using an IP path. The system accepts user dialed digits as the
IP address for the called party. When dialing an IP call, the asterisk, “*”, is used as the “dot
between bytes of the IP address.
Operation
iPECS IP & LDP Phones
1. Lift the handset or press the [SPEAKER] button.
To place an IP Call
2. Press the{IP Line Group} button or dial the IP Group access code.
3. Dial xxx * xxx * xxx * xxx, use “*” as the dot in the IP address.
4. Press “#” to complete dialing.

1. Lift the handset.
To place an IP Call
2. Dial the IP Group access code.
3. Dial ‘xxx “*” xxx “*” xxx “*” xxx‘, use “*” as the dot in the IP address.
4. Press “#” to complete dialing.
