2.87 Zone Management
2.87.1 Holiday Assignment
Description
The Administrator can assign Holiday Zones (up to 40) and Vacation Zones (up to 5 for each
Zone). Devices in a Zone follow the holiday and vacation assignments of the zone. When the
date for a Zone is set to Holiday or Vacation, the Zone will operate in the programmed ring
mode.
Operation
Conditions
Operation of Zone Holiday Assignment is automatic when programmed.
1. When an ICM Tenancy Group Auto Ring Mode Table is assigned as the
destination for a Flexible DID Conversion Table index, the Auto Ring Mode Table
will take precedence over the Zone Holiday Assignment.
2. Zone Holiday Assignment has a higher priority than the Attendant ring mode.
3. It is recommended the same zone be used for each outside Line and Station of a
Tenancy group.

2.87.2 Inter Zone Connection Limit
Description
To maintain voice quality, it may be necessary to limit the number of connected inter-Zone
calls for a Zone so the available bandwidth is used effectively. The Max Total Inter Zone
Connections define the inter-Zone connection limits. As a default, no limit other than the
system capacity is applied to the Inter Zone Connections.
