2.27 Diagnostics & Maintenance
Description
The system software incorporates various diagnostic and maintenance routines that may be
“called” remotely or locally through the systems RS-232 serial ports, a TCP/IP connection
using a Web browser established over IP networks or a PPP connection over ISDN. Routines
that can be accessed include trace functions at the device level, commands for diagnostics,
database and software upload and download, maintenance, and tools for manipulation at the
OS level.
