SIP Phone
System
SIP phone operation generally follows the SLT procedures. Refer to the SIP phone user
guide for operation of features of the phone.
Ericsson-LG Enterprise SIP phone
Operation of SIP phone provisioning is automatic when configured.
1. Press the Call Forward button.
To activate One-Time Call Forward while receiving ring with Feature Sync active
2. Dial destination number, ringing stops and the call Forwards.
1. Press the [DND] button, the ringing call is rejected.
To activate One-Time DND while receiving ring with Feature Sync active
Conditions
1. A lock-key is required to use a 3
rd
party SIP phone, contact your local Ericsson-LG
Enterprise representative.
2. SIP phones must be configured in accordance with the manufacturer’s instruction
and have an appearance of the station assigned in the iPECS UCP system.
3. If Call Wait is supported by the 3
rd
party SIP phone, when the phone is busy, a
second call can be delivered to the phone. Call Waiting operation will vary based
on SIP phone, system Call Wait setting and the type of call (internal or external).
4. In addition to the feature set supported for 3
rd
party SIP phones, the Ericsson-LG
Enterprise SIP phones support Voice Over, Intrusion, and Forced Hands-free ICM.
5. SIP phones provide for an End-of-dialing entry much like a mobile phone.
Generally, a Send or the ‘#’ button is employed at the end of dialing. In addition,
SIP phones generally incorporate a programmable Digit Map that can be used to
recognize the end of dialing so there is no delay in sending digits.
6. With most SIP phones, a second Station appearance can be assigned to a button.
In this case, a virtual MAC is used in the system configuration.
7. Ericsson-LG Enterprise and most 3
rd
party SIP phones support 3-party conference
through a built-in mixer. For operation, refer to the SIP phone user guide. When
Conference is not supported by the SIP phone, the phone will have access to the
Conference Room and Group features for conferencing using the MCIU or MCIM
channels.
