3. Pull lever (A) and rotate toward header to lower safety
prop (B) onto cylinder. Repeat for opposite cylinder.
Disengage safety props as follows:
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and
remove the key from the ignition before leaving the operator’s seat for any reason.

1. Turn lever (A) away from header to raise safety prop
until lever locks into vertical position. Repeat for
opposite cylinder.
2. Start the engine, choose a level area, and lower the
header to the ground.
3. Stop the engine, and remove the key.
