5.8.10 Engine Speed
The maximum and idle engine speeds are factory set.
Refer to 2.2 Specifications, page 30 for detailed information. If specified speeds cannot be maintained, see your
MacDon Dealer.
IMPORTANT:
Do NOT remove any seals from injector pump. Removal of seals will void the engine warranty.
Refer to Engine Intermediate Speed Control (ISC), page 166 for additional information about engine speed.
Throttle Adjustment
The engine speed is controlled by a throttle lever connected to an electronic sensor inside the console.
The throttle lever in the cab should move the throttle sensor the full range between slow speed stop and full rpm
stop without contacting the console at either position.
If the throttle lever is contacting the console and interferes with specified engine speeds, the sensor position may
need adjustment. See your MacDon Dealer.
