5.2.3 Opening Hood (Highest Position)
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and
remove the key from the ignition before leaving the operator’s seat for any reason.
1. Stop the engine and remove the key.

2. Locate latch (A) behind the grill and lift to release the
hood.
3. Raise hood until strap (B), which should be looped
under hooks (C) and (D), stops at approximately a
40° angle.
4. Remove strap (B) from hook (C) and allow hood to rise
slightly farther.
5. Remove the strap from hook (D) and allow the hood to
rise fully to approximately 65°.
