1. If the batteries are installed in the windrower, stop the
engine and remove the key.
2. Open the platform (A) on the right side of the cab. Refer
to 5.3.1 Opening Platforms (Standard Position), page
288.
3. Add electrolyte in accordance with the battery
manufacturers instructions.
4. Close the platform. Refer to 5.3.2 Closing Platforms
(Standard Position), page 289.
Removing Batteries
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and
remove the key from the ignition before leaving the operators seat for any reason.
CAUTION
Do not attempt to service battery unless you have the proper equipment and experience to perform the
job. Have it done by a qualified Dealer.
1. Stop the engine and remove the key.
2. Open the right cab-forward platform to expose the batteries. Refer to 5.3.1 Opening Platforms (Standard
Position), page 288.
