5.7 Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System
5.7.1 Fresh Air Intake Filter
The fresh air filter is located outside the right rear of the cab and should be serviced every 50 hours under normal
conditions and more frequently in severe conditions.
Removing Fresh Air Filter
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and
remove the key from the ignition before leaving the operators seat for any reason.
1. Open the right cab-forward platform. Refer to 5.3.1 Opening Platforms (Standard Position), page 288.

2. Rotate latch (A) and slide filter tray (B) out of the
housing.
