5 Check crosstalk. A. Mount the Light trap
tool on the front lens.

3 Clean the front lens
and make sure the
Light trap tool is
cleaned. Dust and
fingerprints can affect
the result.
If value is still too
high:
Check the transmitter
and receiver
adjustment, see page

Check if APD is
tighten with screw,
see Fig. 5-94 on page
5-97 .
Check adjustment of
receiver fibre to APD
signal maximum, see
see page 6-105.
6 Check signal/noise
ratio.

7 Distance measurement
in DR mode.
A. Aim to the 2,5 meter
DR target.

transmitter should
blinking periodically.
If no measurement is
possible, or the value
is out of tolerance,
check the transmitter/
laser pointer
adjustment, see Fig.

and run EDM offset
determination, see
page 6-120.
