E2 Jr. can use the same modular cards as E2 uses, and thanks to its mod ular des ign, the E2 Jr. ca n be upgraded to a f ully loaded
E2 system at any time.

EX
When linked to the Event Master system (E2 or S 3–4K ) it acts as an input and/or output expansion box to increase the capacities
available to the system. Via the link cable, a fiber extension can be us ed to extend the distance between the EX and the E2 or S 3
processor. E X allows the user to place the unit clos e to a large concentration of s ources or outputs (for example, on a stage with
demo computers) and use a single cable to deliver the signals to and from the main processor. EX helps reduce the cost in terms
of equipment and labor hours required to set up an event.
The Ex can also be used as a stand-alone unit to scale, switch, and convert video signals to m ultiple displays. As a s tand-alone unit
it can be thought of as a 4x4 scaling matrix.
EX can use the same modular ca rds as E2 uses.
About S3–4K

agement system is a compact version o
f the E2. S maller (only 3RU rack mount chassis), its operation is similar to that the E2, and
it is operated in the s ame manner.
S3 and E2 use the same modular cards.

S3–4K Jr.
The S3-4K Jr comes with 8 inputs, 4 outputs, and 2 mixers in the s ame 3 RU form factor as its bigger brother, the S3-4K. It offers
the sam e performance and features as the S3–4K offers, but it is ideally suited for applications that do not require the full capacity
of th e S3–4K.
S3–4K Jr. can use the same modular cards as E 2 uses, and you can upgrade the S3-4K Jr. to a fully loade d S3-4K system at any
time; simply purchase and install additional cards into your system.
