6.3 Software installation
Currently the EM GU I is available for PCs with Microsoft Win7 or Microsoft Win10, an d Ap ple M ACs with O S
X. The software will run on other Microsoft and Mac operating systems, but currently Barco only supports
software installations w ith Win7 (or Win10) and OS X comp uters. Linux version o f the so ftware will b e available
in a future release.
To install on Microsoft Windows
The process o f installing your s oftware involves the following steps
1. Browse to the directory where the ins tall program is downloaded.
2. Run the install program and follow the ins tructions.
Software updates
For a new v ersion of the software, download the zip file and follow the instructions as in the first installation. The new version will
be installed on the same location and the previous version will be overwritten.
