General
The Preset is a register that enables you to s tore destination setups, “looks,” to memory, and to recall them.
Presets configuration menu description
This menu provides:
• A numbered list of the available Pres ets.
• Buttons to select the complete or r elative sav ing of Presets.
•ASave from PVW button to create a new P reset from
selected Destination(s) in P review.
•AnOverwrite from PVW button to overwrite the preset
data in the selected Preset from selected Destination(s)
in Preview.
•ASave from PGM button to create new Pr eset from the
selected Destination(s) in Program.
•AnOverwrite from PGM button to overwrite the preset
data in the selected Preset from selected Destination(s)
in Program.
•ADelete Pre s e t(s ) button to enter a m ultiple d elete of
Presets.
•AnEnable Reorder button to enable the reordering of
Presets in the list.
•ALock All buttontolockallthePresetsinthelist.
•AnUnlock All button to unlock all the Presets in the list.
• A couple of search edit boxes to s earch Presets.
• Three buttons to manage Preset rec all actions.
Complete vs Relative
The “Complete” and “Relative” radio buttons do not affect the recall process; they are used only during the save process.
• To save a “Complete” preset, make sure the “Complete” radio button is s elected, arm the Destinations to be part of the Preset
and press the “Save from PV W ” or “Save from PGM” button. A “Complete” Pres et is marked with a “C” in the Presets list.
• To save a “Relative” preset, make sure the “Relative” radio button is selected, arm the Destinations to be part of the Preset,
hide/show the Background/Layers in th e destinations and then pr ess the “Sav e from P VW ” or “Save from PG M” button. A
“Relative” Preset is m a rked with an “R” in the Presets list.
When a “Complete“ P
reset is recalled, all Layers of the chosen Destinations are affected. Wh en a “Relative” Preset is recalled,
normal layers are affected, but hidden Lay ers are not affected.
