8. UPDATING FIRMWARE
About this chap ter
This chapter provides a detailed procedure for upgrading Event Mas ter series processor software (firmware).
The Ev ent Master series processor provides two options for upg rading firmware via the front panel m enu:
• Using the USB port on the front panel.
• Using the Web Upgrade.
A third so lution is available to upg rading the Event Master series processor with the built-in web interface.

please refer to ch apter "Settings Menu > Web App area > Tools > Manage S oftware", page 212
In the event the Event Master series processor gets into a state in which it constantly reboots after a software
upgrade, press a nd h old the SEL an d ESC keys simultaneously until the front panel shows the choice of p er-
forming a factory rese t or continuing. Performing a factory reset will allow the Event M aster series
processor
to boot normally.
