6.15 Configuration Menu > Adjustment > Out put Configuration
General
In the O utput menu users can assign outp ut connec tors to configurations and adjust signal param eters to m atch the display devices
connected to the unit.
Output Card arrangement
On the E2 model, the output cards occu py slots 11 through 13 and right justified to slot 13.
On the S3–4K model, the output c ards occupy slots 7 through 8 and right justified to s lot 8.
If there is an e mpty output slot, all ou tput cards to the left of that em pty slot will be red. Red indicates that although the cards will
operate properly, outputs from these cards will not be available at the Multiviewer.

If the card with the co nnectors that are part of an output configuration is missing, the card in the unit graphic and the output config-
uration in the c onfiguration list will be grayed out.
Also, if there is an existing output configuration but the card in the s lot is of different type, then again the configuration will be grey ed
out.
Output Connector Grouping
The connectors can also be grouped together to de fin e a 3D* , 4K or Videowall configuration. For example, a projec tor that requires
2 DVI connec tors to pass 3D Left and R ight eye s ignals. Also 4 SDI connectors can be configured as a 4K output in order to connect
to a 4K projector.
There are several rules that apply when defining an output configuration:
1. Each Output connector can only be assigned t
o one output configuration.
2. O utputs in an output configuration must be of the sam e type AND in the s ame s lot or in adjacent slots. For ex ample, there
cannot be a HDMI connector and an SDI connector in the s ame output configur ation.
3. Max connectors for an ou tput configuration = 4.
4. O nce output connectors are assigned to the sam e output configuration, all settings for the output connectors will be synchro-
nized.
5. If an output connector is not assigned
to an output configur ation,
- Output settings cannot be adjusted o n that conn ector.
- The connec tor cannot be assigned to a destination
