Regolatore raddrizzatore
Il regolatore raddrizzatore (1) è fissato
all’interno del supporto proiettore.
Il regolatore raddrizzatore è costituito
da un corpo esterno di alluminio
contenente i diodi per raddrizzare la
corrente prodotta dal generatore.
Contiene inoltre un dispositivo
elettronico che regola la corrente
erogata dall’alternatore in funzione
della tensione della batteria. Se la
batteria è scarica, la corrente ha il
valore necessario per ripristinare le
ottimali condizioni operative
dell’accumulatore stesso.
Diversamente se la batteria è carica
ha un valore più basso.
Note
Controllare la corrente di
ricarica utilizzando lo strumento di
diagnosi “MATHESIS”.
Smontaggio regolatore
Rimuovere il cupolino (Sez. E 1).
Rimuovere la carena destra (Sez. E 2).
Scollegare la connessione (2)
all'alternatore e la connessione (3) al
cablaggio principale.
Svitare le due viti (4) di fissaggio e
rimuovere il regolatore dall'interno del
supporto proiettore.
Importante
Non scollegare i cavi della
batteria a motore avviato, poiché il
regolatore verrebbe
irrimediabilmente danneggiato.
Rimontaggio regolatore
Posizionare il regolatore (1) nel
supporto proiettore e inserire il cavo
del regolatore nell'apposito foro del
supporto.
Fissare il regolatore con le viti (4) e
serrarle alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Collegare la connessione (2)
all'alternatore e la connessione (3) al
cablaggio principale.
Rimontare la carena destra (Sez. E 2).
Rimontare il cupolino (Sez. E 1).
Note
Per posizionare correttamente il
cavo del regolatore, seguire quanto
indicato nelle tavole al capitolo
"Disposizioni dei cablaggi sul
motociclo" della Sez. P 1.
Rectifier - regulator
The rectifier regulator (1) is fixed
inside headlight mount.
The rectifier-regulator consists of an
aluminium casing containing the
diodes that rectify the current
produced by the generator.
The regulator-rectifier also
incorporates an electronic device that
controls the current delivered from
the alternator to suit battery voltage.
If the battery is discharged, a high
current is delivered to return the
battery to optimum operating
conditions.
If the battery is already fully charged,
a lower current is delivered.
Note
To check the recharging
current, use the "MATHESIS" tester.
Removing the regulator
Remove the headlight fairing
(Section E 1).
Remove the right side fairing
(Section E 2).
Disconnect connector (2) to the
alternator and connector (3) to the
main wiring harness.
Unscrew the two retaining screws (4)
and remove the regulator-rectifier
from inside the headlight mounting.
Caution
Never disconnect the battery
cables while the engine is running,
since this would irreparably damage
the regulator-rectifier.
Refitting the regulator
Position the regulator-rectifier (1)
on the headlight mounting and
pass the cable through the cable
hole in the mounting.
Secure the regulator-rectifier with the
screws (4) and tighten them to the
specified torque (Section C 3).
Connect the connector (2) to the
alternator and connector (3) to the
main wiring harness.
Refit the right side fairing
(Section E 2).
Refit the headlight fairing
(Section E 1).
Note
Refer to the figures in
"Cable routing on the motorcycle" in
Section P 1 to ensure correct routing
of the regulator-rectifier wiring.
