Smontaggio sistema di
scarico
Svitare e rimuovere la vite (1) di fis-
saggio del silenziatore destro (7) al
supporto portapedana passeggero e
recuperare il distanziale (2).
Sganciare la molla (15) e sfilare il si-
lenziatore dal tubo di scarico testa
orizzontale (18).
Eseguire la stessa procedura per
rimuovere il silenziatore sinistro (9).
Allentare la vite sul passatubo (14) di
tenuta tra tubo scarico testa orizzon-
tale (18) e verticale (13).
Allentare e rimuovere i dadi (11) di fis-
saggio tubo scarico orizzontale (18).
Sfilare il tubo di scarico orizzontale
(18) dalla testa e dal tubo verticale; re-
cuperare la guarnizione (12).
Allentare e rimuovere i dadi (11) di fis-
saggio tubo scarico verticale (13).
Sfilare il tubo di scarico verticale (13)
dalla testa e recuperare la guarnizione
(12).
Importante
Otturare i condotti di scarico
sulla testa per evitare che corpi estra-
nei entrino nella camera di scoppio.

Removing the exhaust
system
Unscrew and remove the retaining
screw (1) securing the right silencer
(7) to the passenger footpeg bracket.
Remove the spacer (2).
Release spring (15) and remove
silencer from horizontal head exhaust
pipe (18).
Repeat this procedure to remove the
left silencer (9).
Loosen the screw on the pipe clamp
(14) between the horizontal head pipe
(18) and the vertical head pipe (13).
Loosen and remove nuts (11)
securing horizontal exhaust pipe
flange (18).
Take horizontal exhaust pipe (18) out
of head and vertical exhaust pipe.
Keep gasket (12).
Loosen and remove nuts (11)
securing vertical exhaust pipe flange
(13).
Take vertical exhaust pipe (13) out of
head. Keep gasket (12).
Caution
Block off head exhaust duct to
prevent any foreign matter from
entering the combustion chamber.
