Rimuovere l’anello di fermo (25).
Importante
Fare attenzione a non rovinare il
fodero esterno (20) e lo scorrevole
(28).
Estrarre il fodero esterno (20) dallo
scorrevole (28), assestando colpi in
rapida successione, per contrastare la
resistenza della boccola di guida (22).
Rimuovere la boccola (21) dallo scor-
revole inserendo la punta di un caccia-
vite nell’apertura della boccola
stessa.
Rimuovere dallo scorrevole (28):
- la boccola (22)
- l’anello (23)
- l’anello di tenuta (24)
- l’anello di fermo (25)
- il parapolvere (26).
Ispezione forcella anteriore re-
golabile
Appoggiare su un piano la molla e
misurarne la lunghezza libera (L).
Limite di servizio:
270 mm
Sostituire la molla se la lunghezza non
rientra nel limite.
Esaminare la superficie esterna dei
due scorrevoli e quella interna dei due
foderi; non dovranno apparire riga-
ture, scalini o punti di forzatura.
Verificare la rettilineità dei tubi portan-
ti:
massimo errore ammesso
0,10 mm.
Ogni volta che si rimuove il tubo scor-
revole dal fodero è buona norma
sostituire le boccole di guida (22) e
(21).
Remove the retaining ring (25).
Caution
Take care not to damage the
fork sleeve (20) or the stanchion tube
of the slider (28).
Remove the outer sleeve (20) from
the slider (28) with a series of rapid
tugs to overcome the resistance of
the stanchion tube bush (22).
Remove the guide bush (21) from the
end of the stanchion tube, applying
leverage inside the bush with a
screwdriver.
Remove the following parts from the
slider (28):
- the stanchion tube bush (22)
- the dish ring (23)
- the oil seal (24)
- the retaining ring (25)
- the dust seal (26).
Inspecting the adjustable
front fork
Place the spring on a flat surface and
measure its free length (L).
Minimum serviceable length:
270 mm
Replace the spring if it is shorter than
this minimum length.
Inspect the outer surfaces of the
stanchion tubes and fork sleeves.
There must be no signs of scoring,
stepping or wear.
Measure the straightness of the
stanchions.
Maximum straightness error:
0.10 mm.
Fit new guide bushes (21) and
stanchion tube bushes (22) whenever
you remove the sliders from the
sleeves.
