Removing the footpegs
Note
The following disassembling
operations apply to both left and right
footpegs.
To remove the left rider footpeg
bracket (22), loosen the screw (A)
fixing the gear change linkage to the
gearbox shaft.
Loosen the two retaining screws (21)
and remove the complete front
footpeg holder plate (22).
Remove the screws (21) to remove
the right rider footpeg bracket (20).
Note
Remove the two retaining
screws (1) to change the passenger
heel guards (2) and (11).
To remove the passenger footpegs
(27) and (28), remove the silencer
retaining screws (C) and the spacer
(D).
Loosen the two retaining screws (19)
and remove the complete rear
footpeg holder plate (27).
Note
Service handle (23), used to
raise vehicle on center stand, is
present only on left footpeg holder
plate (27).
Refer to the relevant exploded
diagrams for removal and
disassembly information.
Smontaggio pedane
Note
Le operazioni di rimozione di se-
guito descritte sono analoghe sia per
le pedane sinistre che per le pedane
destre.
Prima di rimuovere la pedana anteri-
ore sinistra (22) svitare la vite (A) di fis-
saggio levetta sull’albero cambio.
Svitare le due viti (21) di fissaggio e
rimuovere la piastra portapedana an-
teriore (22) completa.
Per rimuovere la pedana anteriore
destra (20) svitare le viti (21).
Note
In caso fosse necessario sosti-
tuire le protezioni posteriori (2) e (11)
rimuoverle svitando le due viti (1).
Prima di rimuovere le pedane posteri-
ori (27) e (28) è necessario svitare le
viti (C) di fissaggio ai silenziatori recu-
perando il distanziale (D).
Svitare le due viti (19) di fissaggio e
rimuovere la piastra portapedana pos-
teriore (27) completa.
Note
La maniglia (23) di servizio per il
posizionamento del veicolo sul caval-
letto centrale è presente solo nella pi-
astra portapedana sinistra (27).
Per il suo smontaggio e scompo-
sizione fare riferimento agli esplosi.
