ammortizzatore
posteriore
Prima di procedere allo smontaggio è
necessario misurare la lunghezza pre-
caricata della molla (L). La quota rilev-
ata dovrà essere ristabilita nel
rimontaggio.
La lunghezza standard della molla pre-
caricata sill’ammortizzatore è di 166,5
± 2 mm.
Scomposizione ammortizzatore
posteriore
Allentare la ghiera (A) e la ghiera di
registro molla utilizzando una chiave a
settore o attrezzi specifici.
Rimuovere l'anello di fermo (B) e la
molla.
Controllare visivamente l’ammortizza-
tore ed individuare eventuali perdite
d’olio o altri inconvenienti.
Sostituire l’ammortizzatore, se neces-
sario.
Ricomposizione ammortizza-
tore posteriore
Inserire la molla nella custodia
dell’ammortizzatore con la parte ter-
minale conica rivolta verso l'attacco
inferiore.
Montare l'anello di fermo (B).
Avvitare la ghiera registro molla (A)
sino ad ottenere la lunghezza (L) prec-
edentemente misurata.
Note
Un giro completo della ghiera di
registro varia la lunghezza della molla
di 1,5 mm.
Overhauling the rear
shock absorber
Measure the spring preload length (L)
before starting to disassemble the
shock absorber. The spring must be
preloaded to this same length on
reassembly.
The standard preload length of
the shock absorber spring is
166.5 ± 2 mm.
Disassembling the rear shock
absorber
Unscrew the ring nut (A) and the
preload adjuster nut with a pronged
wrench or special tool.
Remove the base ring (B) and the
spring.
Inspect the shock absorber for
damage and for any oil leaks or other
faults.
Replace the shock absorber if
necessary.
Reassembling the rear shock
absorber
Fit the spring in its seat with the
conical end facing down.
Fit the base ring (B).
Screw in the preload adjuster ring (A)
to preload the spring to its previously
determined preload length (L).
Note
One complete turn of the
adjuster ring gives a change of
1.5 mm in spring length.
