Overhauling the
monoshock linkage
Unscrew and remove the top bolt (7)
and bottom bolt (11).
Remove the bush (12) and spacer
(14).
The monoshock linkage consists of a
central rod (16), two nuts (17) and
(14) and two ball joints (18) and (13).
The ball joints have two bushes (4) at
the pivot hole.
Remove the bushes and turn the
inner ring by hand to check ball joint
play. Change ball joint if it has
excessive play.
Distance between centers of the ball
joints must be 272 mm.
Smontaggio e revisione
tirante ammortizzatore
Svitare e rimuovere la vite superiore
(7) e quella inferiore (11).
Recuperare la bussola (12) e il
rasamento (14).
Il tirante è composto da un’asta
centrale (16) e da due snodi sferici
(13). Sugli snodi, in corrispondenza
del foro di fulcraggio, lavorano due
bussole (4).
Dopo aver rimosso dette bussole (4)
verificare, ruotando a mano l’anello
interno, il gioco dello snodo sferico: in
caso di gioco eccessivo sostituirlo.
L’interasse tra gli snodi deve essere
272 mm.
