Sostituzione olio motore
e cartuccia filtro
Note
Questa operazione deve essere
eseguita a motore caldo in quanto
l’olio in queste condizioni risulta più
fluido e la sua evacuazione è più
rapida e completa.
Rimuovere le carenature (Sez. E 2).
Rimuovere il tappo di scarico (1) dalla
coppa motore e scaricare l’olio usato.
Attenzione
Non disperdere l’olio usato e/o
le cartucce filtro nell’ambiente.
Controllare che non vi siano particelle
metalliche attaccate alla estremità
magnetica del tappo di scarico (1) e
riavvitarlo nella coppa con la relativa
guarnizione (2).
Serrare alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Rimuovere la cartuccia (3) filtro olio
coppa, utilizzando una chiave comune
per filtri olio.
Importante
Il filtro rimosso non può essere
riutilizzato.
Montare una cartuccia nuova, (3)
avendo cura di lubrificare con olio
motore la guarnizione.
Avvitarla nella sua sede e bloccarla
alla coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Note
In alternativa, è consigliabile
riempire di olio motore il filtro a
cartuccia (3) prima di montarlo, in
questo modo si raggiungerà il livello
olio prescritto senza un ulteriore
rabbocco.
Ad ogni due cambi d’olio è
consigliabile pulire il filtro aspirazione
olio a rete.
Svitare il tappo (4) e recuperare la
guarnizione (5). Svitare il filtro a rete
(6) e sfilarlo dalla sua sede.
Procedere alla sua pulizia con aria
compressa e benzina facendo
attenzione a non lacerare la reticella.
Rimontare il filtro a rete (6), il tappo (4)
con la relativa guarnizione (5) e serrare
alla coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Rimuovere il tappo di carico (7) ed
effettuare il rifornimento con olio del
tipo prescritto (Sez. C 2) fino a
raggiungere il livello MAX indicato
nell’oblò.
Changing the engine oil
and filter cartridge
Note
Change the oil when the engine
is hot. In these conditions the oil is
more fluid and will drain more rapidly
and completely.
Remove side fairings (Sect. E 2).
Remove the drain plug (1) on the oil
sump and allow the oil to drain off.
Warning
Dispose of oil and/or filter
cartridges in compliance with
environmental protection regulations.
Remove any metallic deposits from
the end of the magnetic drain plug (1).
Refit the drain plug complete with
seal (2) to the sump.
Tighten to the specified torque
(Sect. C 3).
With a common filter wrench,
remove the filter cartridge (3) from
the oil sump.
Caution
Dispose of used cartridge.
Do not reuse cartridges.
Grease the seal with engine oil and
then fit the new cartridge (3).
Screw it inside its location and tighten
to the specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Note
As an alternative, fill filter
cartridge (3) with engine oil before
assembly to reach the recommended
oil level without topping up.
Every two oil changes, clean the oil
intake mesh filter.
Undo plug (4) and keep seal (5).
Undo mesh filter (6) and remove it
from its location.
Clean the mesh filter with gasoline
and compressed air. Care must be
taken not to break the filter mesh.
Refit the mesh filter (6), plug (4) and
its seal (5) and tighten to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
Remove the filler plug (7) and fill with
the recommended oil (Sect. C 2).
Fill until the oil reaches the MAX
mark on the sight glass.
