Smontaggio corpo farfal-
lato completo
Scollegare i connettori con ingressi
(A) dal cablaggio principale agli iniet-
tori (5).
Scollegare il connettore con ingresso
(B) dal cablaggio principale al potenzi-
ometro (3).
Allentare le fascette (4) di fissaggio
corpo farfallato ai collettori di aspirazi-
one (C).
Rimuovere il corpo farfallato (1) com-
pleto dal veicolo facendo attenzione a
non danneggiarlo.
Sul lato sinistro del corpo farfallato, in
corrispondenza della farfalla del cilin-
dro orizzontale (MASTER) è montato il
potenziometro (3). Per smontarlo dal
corpo farfallato svitare le due viti (2).
È possibile effettuare questa operazi-
one anche con il corpo farfallato po-
sizionato sul motoveicolo.
Smontaggio iniettori
Svitare le viti (15), per rimuovere gli
iniettori (5) dal corpo farfallato.
Rimontaggio iniettori
Lubrificare gli anelli OR (6) e (7) degli
Iniettori (5).
Posizionare le viti (15) e serrarle alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Smontaggio potenziometro
Rimuovere la connessione (B) del
cablaggio principale dal potenziomet-
ro.
Svitare le viti (2) recuperando le ro-
sette (14) e rimuovere il potenziomet-
ro (3) dal corpo farfallato.
Importante
Per il rimontaggio del potenzi-
ometro (3) sul corpo farfallato consul-
tare la Sez. D 4.

Removing the complete
throttle body
Disconnect the connectors (A)
providing inputs from the main cable
to the injectors (5).
Disconnect the connector (B)
providing inputs from the main cable
to the potentiometer (3).
Loosen clamps (4) fixing throttle body
to intake manifolds (C).
Remove the complete throttle body
(1) from frame, taking special care not
to damage it.
The potentiometer (3) is fitted at the
left of the throttle body at the
butterfly for the horizontal (MASTER)
cylinder. Unscrew the two screws (2)
to remove it from the throttle body.
You can remove the potentiometer
even with the throttle body on the
motorcycle.
Removing the injectors
Unscrew the screws (15) and remove
the injectors (5) from the throttle
body.
Refitting the injectors
Lubricate the O rings (6) and (7) of the
injectors (5).
Fit the screws (15) and tighten them
to the specified torque (Section C 3).
Removing the throttle position
sensor
Remove main wiring connection (B)
from throttle position sensor.
Loosen screws (2) and keep washers
(14). Then remove throttle position
sensor (3) from throttle body.
Caution
To refit throttle position sensor
(3) to throttle body, refer to Sect. D 4.

Disconnect the throttle
body from the throttle
and choke control cable
