Smontaggio gruppo
cilindro / pistone
Sfilare la guarnizione testa (A) (Sez. N
4.4).
Utilizzando l’attrezzo 88700.5644
portare il pistone (3) del cilindro
orizzontale vicino al P.M.S.
Estrarre con cautela il cilindro (10),
sfilandolo perpendicolarmente.
Se necessario, scuoterlo
leggermente con entrambe le mani,
oppure battere leggeri colpi con un
mazzuolo in gomma, alla base del
cilindro stesso. Sollevarlo fino a che
risulta accessibile lo spinotto (12) del
pistone.
Onde evitare, in fase di rimontaggio,
che l’operazione risulti difficoltosa
nell’inserimento del pistone
all’interno del cilindro, è consigliabile
rimuovere i due componenti (cilindro-
pistone) accoppiati, procedendo
come segue.
Otturare l'apertura del carter con uno
straccio, oppure carta morbida, in
modo che oggetti estranei o semplici
residui solidi, non possano cadere
all'interno del basamento.

Removing cylinder /
piston assy
Remove the gasket (11) from the
cylinder (Sect. N 4.4).
Use tool part no. 88700.5644 to bring
horizontal cylinder piston (3) close to
TDC.
Extract the cylinder (10). Keep it
square and pull gently.
If needed, aid removal rocking the
cylinder gently with both hands or tap
cylinder base lightly with a plastic
mallet. Lift cylinder just enough to
give access to gudgeon pin (12).
To avoid having to perform the
difficult operation of inserting the
piston into the cylinder during
reassembly, remove the piston inside
the cylinder as follows.
Block off the crankcase opening with
a cloth or with soft paper to prevent
foreign objects or dirt falling into the
engine block.
