Refitting the cam covers
Check the O rings (17) and (18) for
wear and replace them as necessary.
Lubricate the O ring (18) with engine
oil and lubricate the inside of the
cover (16) with graphite oil.
Carefully clean the screw holes of the
retaining screws (15) to remove any
dirt that might block the oil ways.
Fit the camshaft cover (16) on the left
of the cylinder head.
Make sure that the alignment finger
(B) is positioned as shown.
Secure the cover (16) with the screws
(15).
Apply the specified threadlock and
tighten the screws (15) to the
specified torque (Section C 3).
Note
Make sure that the key (7) is
correctly fitted in the camshaft (8).
Rimontaggio cappellotti
distribuzione
Verificare lo stato di usura delle
guarnizioni OR (17) e (18) ed
eventualmente sostituirle.
Lubrificare con olio motore la
guarnizione OR (18) e lubrificare con
olio grafitato il diametro interno del
cappellotto (16).
Pulire accuratamente le madreviti
delle viti di fissaggio (15) da ogni
residuo in modo da non occludere i
canali di circolazione dell’olio.
Posizionare il cappellotto (16) sul lato
sinistro della testa.
Verificare che il testimone (B) sia
posizionato come mostrato in figura.
Fissare il cappellotto (16) utilizzando
le viti (15).
Applicare frenafiletti prescritto e
serrare le viti (15) alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Note
Fare attenzione alla linguetta (7)
posizionata sull’albero distribuzione
(8).
