Montaggio nipplo e tubazioni
su radiatore olio
Inserire nel nipplo (C) la guarnizione
(D). La guarnizione (D) deve essere
montata sul lato del nipplo che pre-
senta il filetto di diametro minore, e
deve essere orientata con il lato a sp-
igolo vivi rivolto verso il radiatore.
Applicare frenafiletti prescritto sul lato
del nipplo.
Eseguire la stessa operazione per il
montaggio del nipplo di ritorno.
Per il montaggio del tubo mandata
olio (2) eseguire le seguenti proce-
dure: lubrificare con olio motore il fi-
letto del nipplo (C) di mandata sul
radiatore olio (8). Lubrificare con olio
motore gli OR (E) di uno dei due rac-
cordi del tubo di mandata (2).
Inserire l'estremità del raccordo del
nipplo avvitando manualmente la ghi-
era (F) fino a battuta. Orientare il rac-
cordo rispettando l'angolo del tubo di
mandata (2) come mostra la figura e
serrare la ghiera alla coppia prescritta
(Sez.C 3), contrastando l'esagono (G)
del radiatore olio (8). Eseguire la stes-
sa operazione per il montaggio del
tubo di ritorno olio (1). Nel caso sia
stato rimosso il tappo di chiusura radi-
atore olio (H) e la guarnizione (L), ri-
montare il tappo (H) e la guarnizione
(L) sul foro (M), applicando frenafiletti
sul tappo (H). Serrare il tappo (H) alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3)
Fitting the nipple and oil lines
to the oil cooler
Fit the seal (D) over the smaller diam-
eter threads of the nipple (C), with the
sharp edge towards the oil cooler.
Apply the specified threadlock to the
nipple threads.
Fit the oil return nipple in the same
way.
Now proceed as follows to fit the oil
delivery line (2). Lubricate the threads
of the oil delivery nipple (C) on the oil
cooler (8) with engine oil. Also lubri-
cate with engine oil the O rings (E) at
the end of the delivery line (2).
Fit the end of the oil line over the nip-
ple and screw the nut (F) all the way
home by hand. Turn the end of the
delivery line (2) to the angle shown in
the figure and tighten the nut to the
specified torque (Section C 3), while
holding steady the hexagon (G) on the
oil cooler (8). Fit the oil return line (1)
in the same way. If the oil cooler clos-
ing plug (H) and seal (L) have been re-
moved, refit the plug (H) and seal (L)
in the hole (M), with some threadlock
on the plug (H). Tighten the plug (H) to
the specified torque (Section C 3).
