Registrazione posizione
pedale comando cambio
e freno posteriore
Per assecondare le esigenze di guida
di ogni pilota è possibile modificare la
posizione della leva comando cambio
e freno posteriore rispetto al
poggiapiedi.
Per modificare la posizione della leva
comando cambio agire nel modo
seguente:
Bloccare l’asta (1), utilizzando
l’apposita presa di chiave, e allentare i
controdadi (2) e (3) in corrispondenza
degli snodi sferici.
Note
Il dado (2) ha un filetto
sinistrorso.
Ruotare l’asta (1) facendo assumere
al pedale cambio la posizione
desiderata.
Serrare contro l’asta (1) entrambi i
controdadi (2) e (3).
Per modificare la posizione della leva
comando freno posteriore agire nel
modo seguente:
Allentare il controdado (4).
Ruotare il grano (5) di registro fino a
stabilire la posizione desiderata.
Serrare il controdado (4) alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Verificare, agendo a mano sul pedale,
che questo presenti un gioco di circa
1,5÷2 mm prima di iniziare l’azione
frenante.
Se così non risulta occorre modificare
la lunghezza dell’astina di comando
della pompa nel modo seguente:
Allentare il dado (6) sull’astina della
pompa.
Avvitare l’astina della pompa sulla
forcella (7) per aumentare il gioco o
svitarla per diminuirlo.
Serrare il dado (6) e verificare
nuovamente il gioco.
Adjusting the position of
the gear change and rear
brake pedals
The position of the gear change and
rear brake pedals in relation to the
footpegs can be adjusted to suit rider
preferred riding position.
To adjust the position of the gear
change pedal, proceed as follows:
Using the special flat, lock rod (1) and
loosen check nuts (2) and (3) at ball
joints.
Note
Lock nut (2) has a left-hand
thread.
Turn the rod (1) until the gear change
pedal is in the position required.
Tighten the two lock nuts (2) and (3)
onto the rod (1).
To adjust the position of the rear
brake pedal, proceed as follows:
Loosen the lock nut (4).
Turn the adjuster grub screw (5) until
the pedal is in the desired position.
Tighten the lock nut (4) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Operate the pedal by hand and check
that there is 1,5÷2 mm of free pedal
travel before the brake begins to
operate.
If this is not the case, adjust the
length of the brake cylinder control
rod as follows.
Loosen the nut (6) on the brake
cylinder control rod.
To increase the amount of pedal free
travel, screw the rod further into the
fork (7). Unscrew the rod to decrease.
Tighten the nut (6) and check the
amount of pedal free travel.
