Smontaggio pignone
catena
Rimuovere il coperchio pignone (13)
svitando le viti (14).
Allentare la catena (Sez. D 4).
Inserire una marcia bassa, ribadire la
rosetta di sicurezza (11) e svitare il
dado (10).
Rimuovere la rosetta (11) dall’albero
secondario cambio.
Sfilare il pignone motore (12) con cat-
ena (9) dall’albero secondario cambio
e poi scarrucolare la catena dal pi-
gnone stesso.
Rimontaggio pignone
catena
Verificare che la calettatura dell’albero
secondario e quella del pignone ri-
sultino in perfette condizioni.
Installare la catena (9) sul pignone
(12).
Inserire il pignone sull’albero second-
ario cambio (A).
Inserire la rosetta di sicurezza (11)
sull’albero secondario cambio.
Applicare grasso sull’albero secondar-
io e sul piano di giunzione del dado
(10).
Posizionare il cambio in folle.
Bloccare il dado (10) alla coppia di ser-
raggio prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Ribadire la rosetta di sicurezza (11).
Eseguire il tensionamento della cate-
na (Sez. D 4).
Posizionare il coperchio pignone (13)
serrando le viti (14) alla coppia pre-
scritta (Sez. C 3).
Removing the front
sprocket
Unscrew the screws (14) and remove
the sprocket cover (13).
Slacken off the chain (Section D 4).
Engage a low gear. Turn down the tab
on the tab washer (11) and unscrew
the nut (10).
Remove the tab washer (11) from the
gearbox shaft.
Pull off the sprocket (12) complete
with the chain (9) from the gearbox
shaft. Remove the chain from the
sprocket.
Refitting the front
sprocket
Make sure that the keyways on the
gearbox shaft and the sprocket are
perfectly clean and undamaged.
Fit the chain (9) over the sprocket
(12).
Slide the sprocket over the end of the
gearbox shaft (A).
Fit the tab washer (11) over the end of
the gearbox shaft.
Smear grease on the threads of the
gearbox shaft and underside of the
lock nut
(10).
Put the gearbox in neutral.
Tighten the nut (10) to the specified
torque (Section C 3).
Fold the tab of the tab washer (11)
over a flat on the nut.
Tension the chain (Section D 4).
Fit the sprocket cover (13) and tighten
the retaining screws (14) to the
specified torque (Section C 3).
