Controllo traferro
sensore motore
Note
Il sensore motore è in grado di
leggere i denti dell’ingranaggio invio
distribuzione e grazie alla discontinu-
ità dei due denti riesce e stabilire il
numero di giri del motore.
Nel caso si sia provveduto alla
sostituzione dell’alternatore o del
sensore stesso, è necessario proce-
dere alla verifica del traferro come di
seguito riportata.
Rimuovere il tappo a vite (B) che
chiude il foro di ispezione sul semi-
carter sinistro.
Importante
Non effettuare il controllo nella
discontinuità dei denti.
Introdurre dal foro la lama di uno
spessimetro (A), posizionandola tra
l'estremità del sensore (8) e la corona
dentata dell'ingranaggio rinvio dis-
tribuzione.
Verificare che il gioco presente risulti
0,6÷0,8 mm.
In caso contrario rimuovere il sensore
e modificare lo spessore della
guarnizione (9).
Serrare la vite (1) alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Rimontare il tappo (B) con guarnizione
(C) e bloccarlo alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Checking the air gap of
engine sensor
Note
The engine sensor reads timing
lay gear teeth and therefore engine
rotation speed taking as a reference
the gap equal in size to two teeth.
If the generator or the sensor have
been changed, check the air gap of
sensor (see procedure below).
Remove screw plug (B) from the LH
side casing inspection hole.
Caution
Do not check air gap at the gap
of the teeth.
Fit a feeler gauge (A) into the hole and
measure the air gap between the
sensor (8) and the timing lay gear
teeth.
Check that air gap is 0.6-0.8 mm.
If this is not the case, remove the
sensor, slide out shim (9) and change
it with one having a suitable
thickness.
Tighten screw (1) to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
Refit plug (B) with seal (C) and tighten
to the specified torque (Sect. C 3).
