3 VMA Mode
Vector Modulation Analyzer Mode provides flexible modulation analysis capabilities
on a broad variety of digital signal formats and standards. These capabilities are
primarily accessed through the Digital Demod measurement and Custom OFDM
measurement. It provides various analysis techniques for several standard and non-
standard digital modulation formats. The Power Suite measurements (Channel
Power, Occupied BW, Adjacent Channel Power, CCDF, Monitor Spectrum, IQ
Waveform, Spurious Emissions, and Spectrum Emissions Mask, Phase and
Amplitude vs Time) are used in this mode to make specific power measurements.
To view this help, VMA must be the current active Mode. If not, exit Help (Esc key),
select this Mode, and re-open Help.

dependencies
Changing modes resets all SCPI status registers and mask registers to their power-on defaults.
Therefore, event or condition register masks must be re-established after a mode change
This mode requires N9054EM0E-1FP and/or N9054EM1E-1FP licenses:
–
N9054EM0E-1FP enables the Digital Demod measurement and Power Suite
measurements
–
N9054EM1E-1FP enables the Custom OFDM measurement and Power Suite
measurements
–
N9054EM0E-1FP and N9054EM1E-1FP enable all measurements in VMA Mode
