3 VMA Mode
3.1 Digital Demod Measurement
Notes Sending this command selects the subopcoded marker
Dependencies Not available (control is grayed out) when x-axis is the time domain
Couplings All the usual couplings associated with setting Center Frequency apply
3.1.9 Meas Setup
Contains functions for setting up the measurement parameters and also contains
functions for setting up parameters global to all measurements in the mode.
3.1.9.1 Selected Segment
Enables you to select the segment to setup for demodulation. The term “selected
segment” is used throughout this document to specify which segment will be
affected by changes in the Meas Time and Demod menus.
Selected Segment appears above the menu panel, indicating that it applies to
multiple controls in the Meas Setup menu. Selected Segment is blanked if you
select a tab whose controls do not depend on the selected segment ( for example,
Settings).
Notes The selected segment is remembered even when not in the Meas Setup menu
Preset Segment1
State Saved Saved in instrument state
3.1.9.2 Settings
Enables you to set measurement parameters.
Avg|Hold Number
Specifies the number of N averages that will be used for the measurement. After the
specified number (average counts) have been averaged, the averaging mode
(termination control) setting determines the averaging action.
