3 VMA Mode
3.1 Digital Demod Measurement
Total Bit Num
Determines the maximum total bit number that is used for Tx BER calculation. Once
this number is achieved, the BER measurement stops accumulation.
Remote Command
[:SENSe]:DDEMod:SEGMent1|…|6:BER:COUNt:BITS <real>
[:SENSe]:DDEMod:SEGMent1|…|6:BER:COUNt:BITS?
Example
:DDEM:SEGM1:BER:COUN:BITS 1.0E8
:DDEM:SEGM1:BER:COUN:BITS?
Preset 1.0e8
State Saved Yes
Min/Max 1.0e2 / 1.0e25
Backwards Compatibility

3.1.9.9 Limits
Accesses a menu that enables you to set the following limits:
Tx Power
RMS EVM
Frequency Error
Clock Error
RMS Offset EVM
Limit Test
Selects whether to test the scalar limits and the trace limits. For scalar results that
fail the limit, a red F is appended. And for trace results that pass or fail the displayed
limit (i.e. those for which Limit On/Off is set to On), a message will be displayed in
the upper-left corner of the graticule of the window as below:
If the trace is at or within the bounds of all applicable limits and margins, the text
“Trace Pass” will be displayed in green
If the trace is at or within the bounds of all applicable limits, but outside the
bounds of some applicable margin, the text “Trace Fail Margin” will be displayed
in amber
