7.2 Recall
7.2.37 Tx Pattern
Selects a file from which to import the bit pattern data for Tx BER measurement.
Tx Pattern files are CSV files, and contain the Tx bit pattern data in a form that can
be imported into Excel or similar spreadsheets, as well as header data that gives
information on the patterns.
Tx Pattern files have the extension .csv.
The default path for the CSV files is:
My Documents\VMA\data\DDEMOD\TxPattern
This directory also contains a set of preloaded Tx Pattern files.
Remote Command
:MMEMory:LOAD:DDEMod:SEGMent1|…|6:TXBit:PATTern <filename>
Example Import the pattern string from the file myTxPattern.csv in the current path:
:MMEM:LOAD:DDEM:SEGM1:TXB:PATT "myTxPattern.csv"
Dependencies Errors are reported if the file is empty or missing, or if the file type does not match, or if there is a
mismatch between the file type and the destination data type
Annotation After recall is complete, an advisory is displayed in the message bar confirming the sync pattern
strings were loaded

7.2.38 Carrier Setting
Selects a Carrier Setting file from which to import signal configuration for de-
modulation, segment x ("Data Segment Index" on page 2342) in file is recalled and
applied to segement y ("Select Segment" on page 2338) in Digital Demod
measurement. When x is 0, y is ignored and up to 6 segments in file are recalled and
applied. Note "Select Segment" on page 2338 is GUI only, so y needs to be specified
in below SCPI.
The following file formats are supported:
Signal Studio N7608C Setup Files (*.scp)
PWSG Desktop Setup Files (*.pwsg)
Remote Command
:MMEMory:LOAD:DDEMod:SEGMent1|…|6:SETup <filename>
Example
:MMEM:LOAD:DDEM:SEGM1:SET "mySetup.scp"
Dependencies Errors are reported if the file is empty or missing, or if the file type does not match, or if signal config-
