7 Save/Recall/Print
7.2 Recall
7.2.31 Data Type
There are several Demod Info Data Types available. You can specify the segment
index to recall from and also choose which data type you want to recall.
7.2.32 Select Segment
Selects a segment for Demod Info recall.
Couplings When Data Type is Carrier Setting and Data Segment Index is 0, this key is grayed-out. Carrier Setting
recall behavior depends on the number of data segments in the .scp file:
–
One data segment in .scp file: apply to segment1
–
Two or more data segments in .scp file: first data segment is applied to segment1, second data
segment is applied to segment2, remaining data segments in .scp file are ignored
Preset Segment1
7.2.33 Constellation State
Selects a file from which to import the constellation states data.
Constellation State files are ASCII comma-separated (CSV) text files, and have the
extension .csd or .txt:
–
.csd files contains the constellation state of all modulation formats
–
.txt files contain only the constellation the state of the Custom IQ modulation
format. This file format is the same as Signal Studio N7608C Custom IQ
constellation file format. To use a recalled constellation, you will need to change
the modulation format to Custom IQ
A preloaded Constellation State file can be found in the directory:
My Documents\VMA\data\DDEMOD\ConstlnState
Remote Command
:MMEMory:LOAD:DDEMod:SEGMent1|…|6:CONStln:STATe <filename>
Example Import the constellation state from the file myConstlnState.csd in the current path:
:MMEM:LOAD:DDEM:SEGM1:CONS:STAT "myConstlnState.csd"
Dependencies Only appears in VMA Mode, in the Digital Demod measurement
Errors are reported if the file is empty or missing, or if the file type does not match, or if there is a
mismatch between the file type and the destination data type
Annotation After recall is complete, an advisory is displayed in the message bar confirming the constellation state
was loaded
