NOTE
DVB QAM formats conform to Digital Video Broadcast standard EN 300 429. The
standard defines the bits that represent each state as follows:
The first two bits are differentially encoded so that pi/2 rotations in the QAM
constellation do not affect detection of the two MSBs.
The LSBs are positioned to be rotation-invariant as defined in EN 300 429.
Unlike QAM, DVB QAM does not compensate for I/Q offset. When the format is
DVB QAM, the measurement reports I/Q offset in the metrics table, but doesn't
remove it from the other results calculation. When the format is QAM, the
measurement reports I/Q offset in the metrics table AND removes it from the
other results calculation. So the EVM result for DVB QAM will be higher than
QAM.
Symbol Rate
Enables you to set the symbol rate (symbols per second) for the instrument's digital
demodulator. Set this parameter to match the symbol rate of your system.
