9 Verify laser pointer
focus and alignment
on 30 meter.
Aim with instruments
cross-hair to a target,
consisting of encircled
cross lines in 30m
distance.
If the laser pointer is not
aligned with the
instruments cross-hair
then go back to item See
Fig. 6-50 on page 6-57
Transmitter
focus at 30m
target has to be
<15 mm.
If the
transmitter spot
is out of focus
the Transmitter
unit needs to be
replaced.
The spot is not visible
through the
Telescope.
The evaluation of the
transmitter spot,See
Fig. 6-52 on page 6-
58 has to be done
under dark light
condition by close
observation
(alternatively a
theodolite or
binocular can be used
for observation).
