9.10.4 Synchronizing the Phonebook
The procedures below describe how to synchronize the device Embedded Web Server's
Phonebook table with mobile device entries. The synchronization can be done using the
device or using the Web.
Note: There are some phone types that may request approval before synchronizing
the Phonebook.
9.10.4.1 Synchronizing the Phonebook using the Device
The procedure below describes how to synchronize the device Phonebook table with
mobile device entries.
To synchronize the Device Phonebook using the Device:
1. Pair the mobile device to the device as shown in Section 9.10.1 on page 124.
2. When the mobile device is connected and the Bluetooth LED is solid green, short
press the Bluetooth button; a Phonebook download is initiated from the mobile device
to the device.
9.10.4.2 Synchronizing the Phonebook using the Web
The procedure below describes how to synchronize the device's Embedded Web Server's
Phonebook table with mobile device entries.
To synchronize the Device's Phonebook using the Web:
1. Browse to the device's Embedded Web Server via the default gateway IP address.
2. In the 'Voice Over IP' screen, click the Bluetooth tab and verify that your mobile
device is synchronized; the following screen appears:
