4.2 Configuring WAN Access
The procedure below describes how to configure WAN Access, which can be configured
either by xDSL, WAN Ethernet or 3G USB Modem.
4.2.1 Configuring xDSL
When configuring WAN Access via xDSL, the following options are available:
WAN ATM over DSL (ADSL)
WAN PTM over DSL (VDSL)
Note: For more configuration information, refer to Section 8 on page 73 and Section 12
on page 153.
4.2.1.1 Configuring WAN ATM over DSL (ADSL)
1. In the Quick Setup page under the WAN ATM over DSL group, from the 'Connection
Type' drop-down list, select the required connection type.
2. The device supports the following WAN ATM over DSL connection types:
• Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE)
• Point-to-Point Protocol over ATM (PPPoA)
• Routed Ethernet Connection over ATM (Routed ETHoA)
• LAN-WAN Bridged Ethernet Connection over ATM (Bridged ETHoA)

3. Click OK.
