29 Clock and Alarm
You can set the phone’s date and time as well as set an alarm.
29.1 Date and Time
You can set the phone’s date and time as well as determine the format of the date and
time.
29.1.1 Changing the Date Format
You can change the date format. This can be either DD-MM (for example, 25-12) or MM-
DD (for example, 12-25).
To change the date format:
1. In idle state, press the Menu softkey.
2. Press the
navigation keys to scroll to the Clock/Alarm
icon, and then
press the Select softkey to access the menu.
3. Press the navigation keys to choose the Date & Time option, and then press the
Select softkey.
4. Press the navigation keys to choose the Date Format option, and then press the
Select softkey.
5. Press the navigation keys to choose the desired format, and then press the Select
softkey; the new date format is applied and the “Saved” message is displayed.
29.1.2 Changing the Time Format
You can change the time format. This can be either 12-hour format (for example, 5:30 PM)
or 24-hour format (for example, 17:30).
To change the time format:
1. In idle state, press the Menu softkey.
2. Press the
navigation keys to scroll to the Clock/Alarm
icon, and then
press the Select softkey to access the menu.
3. Press the navigation keys to choose the Date & Time option, and then press the
Select softkey.
4. Press the navigation keys to choose the Time Format option, and then press the
Select softkey.
5. Press the navigation keys to choose the desired format, and then press the Select
softkey; the new time format is applied and the “Saved” message is displayed.
