5. Select the External Cable Modem option, and then click Next; the ‘Internet Cable
Modem Connection' screen appears.

6. Select the Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) with Username and Password
Authentication option; the 'Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP)' screen appears.

7. Enter the L2TP server host name or IP address provided by your ITSP.
8. Enter the login user name and password provided by the administrator of the network
you are trying to access.
9. From the ‘Internet Protocol’ drop-down list, select whether the IP address is obtained
automatically or select ‘Use the Following IP Address’ and define the IP address.
