29.2.2 Defining the Alarm Melody
You can define the melody that is played when the alarm sounds.
To set the alarm melody:
1. In idle state, press the Menu softkey.
2. Press the
navigation keys to scroll to the Clock/Alarm
icon, and then
press the Select softkey to access the menu.
3. Press the navigation keys to choose the Alarm option, and then press the Select
softkey.
4. Press the navigation keys to choose the Alarm Melody option, and then press the
Select softkey; a list of melodies is displayed.
5. Press the navigation keys to choose the required melody (a sample of the melody
is played when you highlight a melody), and then press the Select softkey; the melody
is applied to the alarm and the “Saved” message is displayed.
29.2.3 Disabling the Alarm
You can set the alarm to off so that it does not ring at all.
To set the alarm to off:
1. In idle state, press the Menu softkey.
2. Press the
navigation keys to scroll to the Clock/Alarm
icon, and then
press the Select softkey to access the menu.
3. Press the navigation keys to choose the Alarm option, and then press the Select
softkey.
4. Press the navigation keys to choose the Alarm Off option, and then press the
Select softkey.
29.2.4 Switching Off or Snoozing the Alarm
When the alarm rings, you can either switch it off entirely or you can snooze the alarm so
that it switches off temporarily and then rings again after two minutes.
To switch off the alarm when it rings, press the Off softkey or key; the alarm
icon
disappears from the main screen.
To activate the snooze alarm when it rings, press the Snooze softkey or any other key
except the Off softkey or key; the alarm
icon
remains displayed in the main
screen.
