Prima del rimontaggio eliminare l’olio
presente sulla molla (16) e sul giunto
molla (15).
Note
Installare la molla (16), metten-
do la parte con le spire avvicinate, ver-
so il piede della forcella.
Installare i seguenti componenti:
- la molla (16),
- il giunto molla (15),
- il distanziale (13),
- la rosetta (12).
Montare l’attrezzo cod. 88713.0957
usato nello smontaggio nel foro late-
rale del giunto molla (15).
Spingere in basso detto attrezzo quin-
di posizionare il distanziale (D) sotto il
controdado della cartuccia (17).
Rimuovere l’attrezzo cod.
88713.0958.
Avvitare il tappo superiore (11) sulla
cartuccia (17).
Bloccare con una chiave esagonale il
tappo (11) agendo sulla presa di chia-
ve (E) e serrare il tapo superiore a
30÷40 Nm.
Rimuovere il distanziale (D) premen-
do l’attrezzo (C, cod. 88713.0957) ver-
so il basso.
Attenzione
Il registro (A) del tappo (11)
deve essere a fine corsa sul filetto
della cartuccia (17).
Sollevare il fodero esterno (20) e avvi-
tare il tappo superiore (11) alla coppia
di 30÷40 Nm.
Wipe any old oil off the spring (16)
and damper cap (15) before fitting
them.
Note
Fit the spring (16) with the
closer coils towards the bottom of the
fork.
Fit the following components:
- the spring (16),
- the damper cap (15),
- the bush (13),
- the seal (12).
Fit the special tool code 88713.0957
used during disassembly to the hole
in the side of the damper cap (15).
Push down on the tool and position
the spacer (D) under the lock nut of
the damper tube (17).
Remove the tool 88713.0958.
Screw the plug (11) on to the damper
tube (17).
Hold the plug (11) steady with one
wrench on the flats (E) and tighten
the upper part of the plug to
30÷40 Nm.
Push down on the tool (C, code
88713.0957) and remove the spacer
(D).
Warning
Make sure that the adjuster (A)
on the plug (11) 9is unscrewed all the
way along the threads on the damper
tube (17).
Lift the outer sleeve (20) and screw in
the plug (11), tightening it to a torque
of 30÷40 Nm.
