Sfilare la corona di sfere (B) del cusci-
netto (6) inferiore.
Sul perno rimarrà posizionato l’anello
interno (A) del cuscinetto (6) inferiore,
il relativo anello di tenuta (7) e la roset-
ta (8).
Utilizzare un estrattore universale (del
tipo raffigurato) per rimuovere l’anello
interno (A) e il distanziale (B) dal perno
di sterzo, facendo molta attenzione a
non rovinare la sede.
Importante
Gli anelli di tenuta (4) e (7) e i
cuscinetti (5) e (6) rimossi non vanno
più rimontati.
Rimuovere gli anelli esterni (E) dei
cuscinetti dal cannotto utilizzando un
adatto punzone e facendo molta at-
tenzione a non rovinare le sedi.
Remove the ball race (B) of the
bottom bearing (6).
Only the inner race (A) of the bottom
bearing (6) plus its seal ring (7) and
washer (8) now remain on the
steering shaft.
Use a universal puller of the type
illustrated to pull off the inner race (A)
and spacer (B) from the steering
shaft, taking great care not to damage
the bearing seat.
Caution
Do not refit the removed oil
seals (4) and (7) or b bearings (5) and
(6).
Using a suitable drift, remove the
outer bearing rings (E) from the
steering tube. Proceed with extreme
care to avoid damaging the bearing
seats.
