Also check that the component parts
of the gear coupling mechanism are
in good condition (see exploded
view).
Engage the gears and check that the
gearbox control does not jam
(selector fork-gear groove and fork
pin- desmodromic drum groove) due
to incorrect end float. Correct
clearances by shimming the gearbox
shafts and drum with suitable shims.
Total end float values for gearbox
shafts and gearbox drum are
specified under Sect. C 1.1.
Controllare inoltre le buone condizioni
dei particolari componenti il meccan-
ismo di innesto marce (vedi esploso).
Inserire le marce e controllare che
non vi siano impuntature nel coman-
do cambio (forcella-gola ingranaggio e
piolo forcella-gola tamburo desmo-
dromico) dovute a non corretti giochi
assiali. Ripristinare detti giochi spes-
sorando alberi cambio e tamburo con
apposite rondelle di rasamento.
I giochi assiali totali degli alberi cam-
bio e del tamburo cambio, sono ripor-
tati alla Sez. C 1.1.
